Belgium Rate change
An exemption has been introduced by the law dated 27 th March 2009 (published in the \\\\\\\"Moniteur Belge\\\\\\\" on 7 th April 2009).It adds a new class of business to the list of exemptions in article 176/2,1° of the Code (Code des droits et taxes divers).
Credit insurance contracts concerning commercial or country related risks or both these risks, are now exempt. This change is applicable to premiums that fall due on 7th April 2009 or later. However if this has already been paid, you can claim it back.
